Hi,

Is the Retardex toothpaste product found here on the Boots website: (http://www.boots.com/en/Retardex-Toothpaste-75ml_5330/) suitable for children with learning difficulties?

Many thanks

Dear electromuff.co.uk

Thank you for your email.

Retardex toothpaste should be suitable for children with learning difficulties as it doesn’t have sodium lauryl sulphate in it. That is the substance that produces the foaming that can encourage people to stop cleaning their teeth too soon. However, you should also be aware that it does not currently contain fluoride and children do need fluoride. That can be covered by giving them a mouthwash with fluoride or alternating with a fluoride toothpaste. Towards the end of the year this situation should change for Retardex.

If you have any other questions please do not hesitate to contact us.

The Jews Are Fucked When Jurassic Park Becomes A Reality

Subject: My Biology Teacher Isn't Jewish

Hi,

My biology teacher Mr Lyle said in class yesterday that he has no doubt that there are German genetic scientists working on projects that involve trying to bring back mammoths by retrieving sperm from a frozen mammoth and use it to impregnate an elephant.  Although he says the probability of success is many many years away he is adamant that it will happen.  Mr Lyle also said that this could lead to the eventual bringing back of dinosaurs as well.

He isn't Jewish so I didn't ask him the 2 questions that immediately came to my mind, which is why I'm contacting yourselves.  Will mammoth and dinosaur meat be considered kosher or non-kosher?

Thanks

Jaffa Cakes Are Cakes

Hello,
My friend and I have a bet that needs settled before we come to physical blows.  Is a Jaffa Cake a biscuit or a cake?
Thanks

Dear electromuff.co.uk,

Thank you for your enquiry received today, we are able to confirm they are cakes; but stores usually display them in the biscuit aisle.  We know that in 1991 McVitie's won a battle with the VAT to prove that they are cakes - due to the sponge not biscuit base.
Many thanks for your enquiry
